Things you should know when
We can process your order using most of the common image types available today. All digital cameras and graphic design programs will produce at least one of these file types. The types we accept are JPEG, TIFF, BMP, and PNG. Our preferred file type is JPEG, which produces excellent print results and efficient compression. If your image is in a different format, please save it as one of the above formats before submitting to us.
Don’t worry if you aren’t a big colour geek, your camera produces images in a colour space we can handle (typically sRGB). If you prefer, you can also upload images in Adobe RGB, or any other popular RGB Colour Profile. Please do not upload images in the CMYK colour space.
You can upload files up to 100 MB in size. Should your images be larger than the file size limits, please contact us for details on how to adjust your file and process your order. Contact us about larger files.
Our innovative, professional quality murals start with the perfect
amount of pixels. To ensure crystal clear print, make sure your image is suitable for the size you are printing.
If you’re planning on obtaining an image from an online marketplace like Adobe Stock or Shutterstock, please purchase the largest file size available. If you’re using an image from your own collection, please make sure that it is at least 8000px X 6000px.
DPI (Dots per inch) isn’t the same as PPI (Pixels per inch). DPI refers to the number of printed dots contained within one inch of image printed by a printer. PPI refers to the number of pixels contained within one inch of image displayed on a screen (Monitor/TV, or handheld device). We have the capabilities of printing as high as 600dpi if your file allows it.
quick reference chart:
72ppi = 300dpi
150ppi = 600dpi
